Leading Ethereum educator and angel investor Anthony Sassano has unveiled his bold predictions for Ethereum's milestone year in 2025, forecasting major price appreciation and institutional adoption.

As Ethereum approaches its 10th anniversary, Sassano projects ETH price to reach $15,000 by year-end, driven by increasing institutional investment. He anticipates ETH Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) will attract over $50 billion in net inflows during 2025.

The expert predicts growing mainstream financial sector engagement, with major Traditional Finance (TradFi) companies building on the Ethereum network. Notably, he expects BlackRock and partners to launch a layer 2 platform for tokenized real-world assets.

In a striking projection, Sassano suggests multiple nations will announce ETH holdings as part of their treasury reserves, marking a new era of government adoption.

On the technical roadmap, he anticipates the Pectra upgrade rollout in early 2025, followed by what he calls the "biggest Ethereum upgrade ever" - Fusaka in 2026. The mainnet gas limit is expected to expand to 50 million, boosting network capacity.

Layer 2 solutions will see major developments, according to Sassano. New high-performance L2s like MegaETH and Rise will launch, while Arbitrum One is predicted to achieve stage 2 decentralization. He also foresees Base, currently under Coinbase, spinning out as an independent entity with its own token.

Infrastructure improvements feature prominently in his outlook, with total ETH bridged into L2s projected to surpass 10 million. Sassano maintains that AI agents will continue dominating the ecosystem throughout 2025.

"Ethereum will turn 10 years old in 2025 and I'm very confident that this year will be Ethereum's most bullish year yet! Ethereum is the world computer; ETH is money," stated Sassano.

Currently, ETH trades at $3,415.
